Edward Woodford

Co-founder, CEO

Edward co-founded Seed CX and serves as CEO. Prior to Seed CX, Edward he gained experience at a series of hedge funds. Edward holds a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from University of Warwick (United Kingdom) and a Master of Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (US). He was named in Forbes' 30 Under 30 in 2018.

Brian Liston

Co-founder, President

Brian co-founded Seed CX and currently serves as President and COO. Prior to Seed CX, Brian worked at Red Sea Ventures, an early-stage fund in New York, Accenture Consulting and Skype. He holds a B.S. in Economics & Finance, focus in Mathematics & Statistics from University College Dublin (Ireland) and a Master of Finance from MIT (US). Brian was named as one of Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2018.

Matt Weiss

Chief Technical Officer

Matt is Chief Technical Officer at Seed CX. In this role, he focuses his efforts on trading applications, system infrastructure and order routing. Previously, Matt was Lead Architect at Trading Technologies for 10 years, before leaving to found One Stop Trading Solutions, where he consulted with Thomson Reuters to develop low-latency systems. He received a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, College of Engineering.

Lawrence Mish, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Lawrence is Chief Financial Officer at Seed CX and is responsible for financial planning, accounting, and budgeting for the firm. Prior to joining Seed CX, he served as CFO of various trading firms including Ketchum Trading, Allston Trading, and Chicago Trading Company. Lawrence received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management and Accounting from Purdue University and is a registered CPA.

Waseem Barazi

Chief Compliance Officer, General Counsel

Waseem is Chief Regulatory Officer and Associate General Counsel at Seed CX. He previously served as Chief Regulatory Officer and Associate General Counsel of OneChicago, overseeing both the Compliance and Legal Departments. In that role, he was responsible for ensuring the exchange’s regulatory compliance with the SEC, CFTC and FINRA. Waseem graduated with a B.A. in Economics from of the University of Illinois at Chicago and earned a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

Adam Leaman

Head of Market Operations

Adam is Head of Market Operations at Seed CX. Prior to Seed CX, Adam was Vice President of Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking, a technologist at BGC Partners and a Senior Derivatives Trader and Systems Developer at HTG Capital Partners. Adam earned a B.S. in Engineering from Purdue University.

Director, Seed CX

Adam is a General Partner at Struck Capital and Divergence Digital Currency Fund (DDC), and founded Founder, Long Island Brand Beverages, acquired by Cullen Investments in 2014. Adam earned a J.D. from Georgetown University and was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 Venture Capital in 2017.

Salil Desphande

Salil is Managing Director at Bain Capital Ventures. He previously served as General Partner at Bay Partners and as CEO and President at The Middleware Company. Salil earned a M.S. in electrical engineering from Stanford University and B.S. in electrical engineering from Cornell University.

Bob Paul

Public Director (Seed SEF)

Bob has practiced law for the past 36 years, specializing in the regulation of futures, swaps, and other derivative instruments. Bob previously served as Chief Compliance Officer at Tradeweb SEF and as a General Counsel at the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and OneChicago, where he played a key role in launching the first stock futures exchange in the U.S. He graduated as a Benjamin Franklin Scholar from the University of Pennsylvania, and earned his Juris Doctor from the New York University School of Law.

John is Managing Director and Global Head of Investor Engagement at DMS Governance, and previously served as Vice President and Head of Strategy of the New York Mercantile Exchange and Director of Hedge Fund Consulting at KPMG. John received his M.B.A from Harvard Business School and studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford University.

Julie Myers-Wood

Public Director (Zero Hash)

Julie Myers-Wood served as Assistant Secretary for Export Enforcement at the Department of Commerce and Chief of Staff for the Criminal Division at the Department of Justice. Her expertise focuses on screening, monitoring and compliance review and assessment. She also served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York. Julie earned at J.D from Cornell Law School and a B.A. in English and Political Science from Baylor University

Kathleen Camilli

Co-founder, CEO

Kathleen has served as the Chief U.S. Economist at Credit Suisse Asset Management, as Reserve Analyst at Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and as Chief Economist at MFR Securities. She has more than two decades of private and public sector experience and is a economic forecaster and independent economist. Kathleen holds an M.B.A in Finance from New York University and B.A. in Economics from Rutgers University.

Cynthia Meyn

Cynthia’s wide-ranging experience includes Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, Director at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), Executive Vice President at PIMCO, Managing Director at Cantor Fitzgerald, and CTO/CRO at Fuji Capital Markets and Vice President at Lehman Brothers.
